WE NEED TRANSFERS

The Red Devils boss wants the club to act before the transfer window closes

Jose Mourinho has issued a stark warning to Manchester United chiefs with just four days until the transfer window closes.

The Red Devils manager has cautioned the club that they could be in for a “difficult season” if they don’t make the necessary signings in the coming days.

Thursday’s transfer deadline is fast approaching with ‘The Special One’ understood to be targeting two positions, centre-back and right wing.

Speaking prior to United’s 1-0 defeat to Bayern Munich in pre-season on Sunday, Mourinho told MUTV:

“My CEO knows what I want and I still have a few days to wait and see what happens.”

“The other clubs who compete with us are really strong and already have fantastic teams. Or they are investing massively like Liverpool, who are buying everything and everybody.

“If we don’t make our team better it will be a difficult season for us.”

Mourinho, has publicly voiced his frustrations at United’s lack of transfer activity this summer, and has now seemingly made one last public plea to try and secure the players he wants.
