The 2016 Olympic silver medallist has been helping the ‘Gypsy King’ prepare for his upcoming fight with Deontay Wilder

Rising heavyweight contender Joe Joyce believes Tyson Fury is the “most talented” boxer he’s ever shared the ring with, despite having also sparred the current king of the division, Anthony Joshua.

During his time at Team GB from 2012-2016, Joyce shared countless rounds with Joshua, though the 33-year-old is currently out in America helping Fury prepare for his bout against Deontay Wilder on December 1.

“I am getting the best possible work right now,” Joyce posted on social media, “I feel better than ever sparring Tyson, making me a better fighter.

“He is the most talented I’ve been in the ring with, which brings the best out of me.

“You would pay good money to see these spars.”

Joe Joyce began his professional career late after remaining amateur to go to the 2016 Olympics, and is now 6-0 with his next fight set to be on the Wilder v Fury undercard.

He has previously also spoken about his time preparing with AJ.

“Me and AJ have spent a lot of time together sparring,” Joyce told reporters after his last fight in September

“I helped him out with my professional career and he helped me out getting ready for Rio [2016 Olympics].”

When asked who got the better of the rounds, he replied: “It depends what time of the camp it is, it’s very competitive at all times.”
