For those running the London Marathon, the finish line is a usually truly glorious sight.

After months of training and preparation followed by 26.2 miles of endurance running, it’s an uplifting moment to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

Unless of course, you’re wearing a ten-foot tall Big Ben costume and struggle to make it through underneath the barrier.

During today’s event, one bold runner took on the entire race while dressed like the famous London landmark, but paid the price when it came to cross the line at the end.

He had to be helped bending down by a race steward in the amusing clip which has since gone viral.
