Freddie Flintoff has revealed he sold his previous house to Manchester City star Benjamin Mendy – and he’s made it look so much better Freddie’s kids now want to move back!

Flintoff, Ally McCoist and Laura Woods were discussing their homes on Monday’s talkSPORT Breakfast, after Jesse Lingard opened up his Manchester mansion on the revival of MTV’s hit show, Cribs!

Fans were stunned by the Manchester United ace’s incredible pad, which boasts an indoor swimming pool and gym, a cinema room, and a massive walk-in wardrobe with display cabinets for England caps and… his pants.

That got the England cricket legend talking about how his old family home in Manchester was sold to City star Mendy, and he revealed just one of the ways the Frenchman has improved it…

…by replacing Freddie’s vintage Star Wars figure collection with his World Cup, Premier League and Ligue 1 medals.

And it’s so much better than their current house, Fred said, that his kids want to move back!

The talkSPORT Breakfast co-host explained: “We sold our last house to Benjamin Mendy at Man City, and he’s put it all over YouTube, the internals of the house.

“My kids are so upset because it’s better than the house we’re in now – they want to move back!

Asked what Mendy has changed, Freddie admitted one part of the house has received a notable upgrade…

“The noticeable things… there’s a room with a shelf and on that shelf I used to keep my Star Wars figures…

“…and he’s changed it to World Cup medals.

“It’s gone up a little bit!”

Well, we’re not sure about that – those figures could be worth a fair few bob. You’re sitting on a gold mine, Fred!
